1975 and 1976 PSA Submission Successes **Updated 3-31 in last post**

I am an avid collector of 1970's baseball. I really love the Topps issues from 1975 and 1976, so I always try to include at least a couple of the cards from these sets in my PSA submissions. Here are a couple of my recent successes:

    John,

Congratulations on those results!! The 1976 set has always been one of my favorites because of the subdued player position. Growing up as a catcher I loved the Carter and Bench cards from this set.

Sharp cards, John! I knew that Carter would be a 9. Very nice!

Agree with the above sentiments on that Carter. My favorite card of his. Of course I'm biased due to 76 being my favorite set, lol. Your card is a blazer too. You think the centering (which is still nice IMO especially for that card) is what kept it from a 10 ? BTW - I need a Carter that nice !

I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.

I'm sure he would trade it to you for a nice looking Bench, which btw is another great 1976 card. image

The bottom of the Carter card is under the lip in the holder. It is actually centered better than it appears in the scan.

It's got some tilt, bit it's well-centered under the PSA definition.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I too love the Carter!! The 1976 set has some great action shots. My favorite card from that set is the Al Oliver, which I am still trying to find a raw one suitable for submission.

Mike, you are correct in that I do need to find the perfect Bench, and I bet Jeff has one.image
  • Love the carter. One of my first cards owned. Good job.

I just got this back from PSA. I pulled it from a wax pack I got from BBCE:
