1983 donruss fun bag rip results...wow!

i opened my first "fun bag" from the 83 donruss baseball series and i am quite pleased....

also keeping these 2 sealed....one has a ryne sandberg rc showing on the back and the other has nolan ryan showing! another quality product purchased from bbce!

Considering I opened four of these a couple months ago and I didn't get a sniff of any of the Big 3 not to mention that they all seemed to share the same crummy collation, I am happy to see that these things do actually work.

thanks guys...im glad i can share my excitement on here with people who enjoy this stuff as much as i do...when i told my wife i found packs with sandberg and ryan showing, she responded "thats nice, but i dont know who those people are"

ok turns out these are not non sport packs....they are the golf packs....anyone know anything about these? did bbce send this variation by mistake? i think i recall these selling for twice the cost of the normal ones...ive only opened 1 pack so far...im furthur investigating the matter before ripping the rest

No help on the golf question, but congratulations on the baseball. I opened a couple of the 83 Donruss a while back. I don't recall the results and I did not get them from BBCE but enjoyed the rip. I did not open the non-sport packs. I think they were all Tron.

The Golf cards are a significant upgrade from any of the Donruss non Sports cards of the era. The 1982 are tougher to come by than the 1981, but the 1981 contain quite a few RC's. It is almost a 1986 Fleer Basketball of golf cards, when it comes to RC's. Congratulations!

I think Donruss considered anything non-baseball as non-sport. Are they the 82D Golf packs? If so, they're much more difficult to find than the 81D golf.

they are 81 donruss golf....there is one pack with jack nicklaus...showing on the back....the two packs i opened also contained a nicklaus...makes me wonder about the rest!
