Panini Rewards vs. Redemptions

What do you guys think about this vs. having redemption cards that take forever and rarely live up to what they should be?

I think it's a great idea and I like that Panini is trying to do something about long redemptions. I have 4.5 year old UD redemptions and also have had the same card replaced with the same replacement six times and both scenarios wouldn't be an issue with this setup. I like the idea of having a hit that I get to pick out.

I like the idea. I can see this reward points being sold on Ebay for some good coin for those who want a "Player Experience"

I think its time for an enterprising lawyer to put together a class action for the late redemptions. I know the card companies cover themselves with the legal wording on the redemptions but many of us have redemptions that have been unfilled for years. Regardless of the legalese, usually a good faith effort is required. I just don't see any of the card companies putting forth a good faith effort.

Topp send me a late replacement notice and offered me another card if I wanted it. When I called them, they refused to honor it. Topps' own policy says that after a period of time you will receive a replacement item. The customer service weasal told me that they were still trying to get the player to sign. This is a back-up RB from 2011.

  • I have a leaf redemption from the 2013 Best of Basketball product. It is an old wax pack. Will I have to wait a long time for the pack to get to me?
