What is VCP on a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 2? I want to upgrade.

I want to grade my 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle and was hoping for some help with VCP.

Hope you all are doing well and thanks for the help in advance.

    It blows me away that a person looking so spend what $6K or so on a card but
    unwilling to pay a few bucks for the information to help him buy wisely.

    VCP is the modern day buying guide must have. You can't just reference prices as this card/price tier is all about eye appeal, I highly suggest you see the photos on VCP to determine true price ranges.

    By the way the 11/8/2012 Probstein123 was my consignment to Rick. I was happy with $6,800 at the time but...
    It looks like the price has jumped up since then across the board.

    Interesting to see the numbers.

    Bobby. You find the time to reply to this thread but my email via the comment feature on VCP with some ideas for enhancements goes ignored?
    So the people who pay get ignored and the people who don't get immediate attention?
    Glad my 13 a month is appreciated.
    For reference it was the inquiry about the excel/csv upload feature. I gave up on download including prices.

    I'm not advocating free distribution of his data. I just would like to see some more positive responsiveness to paying customers when they email the site owner. It just appears to me that the only way to get Bobby's attention is to post price info here. Meanwhile the site could benefit from some usability tweaks but that's not addressed.

    Good luck with the upgrade.

    I am also trying to upgrade my '52 Topps Mantle, from "imaginary" to "actual card".

    And, yes, not all PSA 2s are equal. So many savvy buyers buy the card and not the holder these days.

    This is probably better for a different thread, but I also wonder if VCP wouldn't be more lucrative for the owner if it was a free site, but contained banner ads which generated revenue based on page views and click-throughs.

    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    I have noted your suggestion and it is on on todo list that is about a mile long. Site is getting
    so big with data it is becoming more and more difficult to implement changes. I have a huge
    one I have been trying to get done before the last National and still not even close to completion.

    Not easy making change but we just keep plugging away trying to make it better and better.

    I took a look at the card from the 11/08/12 auction and it is one beautiful card in a PSA 2! If I overstep my bounds, I apologize, but I want to show it here to add to the discussion of eye appeal. I believe if this example was put up for auction today, it would go for a considerable amount over VCP average based on the great centering and vibrant colors. You would be hard pressed to find another PSA 2 in as good of condition.
