Went for 3+ times VCP!
1959 - Jimmy Brown PSA 7
Nice looking card, I wonder if the discoloration on the back keep it at a 7?

<< <i>Yep, I see it now that you pointed it out, yellow is the hardest one to see! >>
Registration probs always bring out my OCD
And that yellow don't help
Nice PSA 8 for $50 less!
<< <i>The bidder who bid it up has 72% bidding with Andy Madec. His only bidded football card. Call it what you want, but if he don't bid, the card sells for $142 (which is where it should have ended in the first place, and even THAT is a premium). No offense, but bidding more on a 7, than you can pay for an '8'???!!!?!?! Someone forgot to take the trash out - it stinks.

Bobby,
Are you suggesting that shill bidding was involved? If so, why would the shill bidder bid that much higher than VCP? It doesn't make sense.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

The top bidder is no rookie. Someone has to think the card is worth what it sells for.
This card looks strong in the scan. What does a 7.5 or an 8 go for?
wise move, experienced eBayer. wise, indeed.
<< <i>hey Bobby. guess what? next time we see that PSA 7 Jimmy, it won't be a PSA 7 Jimmy. it'll be a highly touted raw card which likely will command an even higher amount at auction.

That's a pretty good idea. Almost as good as trying to sell a raw trimmed card, advertising it as NM
Bump or not it had better get higher than an 8

You talking about the one that turned into a BVG 8? Oh yea......I guess I should have advertised it as NM/MT.
LOL
