Bumping this old thread because you may want to check your fees... I had this auto-relist option selected on all of my auctions (about 1200 auctions) and never thought twice about it. Whenever ebay would have a Free Listing promo (about once a month) I would just relist all of my unsold auctions. All of those auctions would have the "auto-relist" button selected so ebay would auto-relist those auctions two more times for free.
Well apparently the auto-relist feature is no longer free, but they don't give you the option to deselect that feature anywhere on active auctions. I opened up my ebay fee page and found a brand new balance of $99 for automatically relisted auctions. Needless to say... WTF???
Did a policy change in November that I'm not aware of?
The worst part is, I have all of these active auctions that I know have the auto-relist option selected, but I don't see anywhere that lets me turn off that auto-relist option.

Jeff, I did notice in the past 2 weeks that they added the words "fees may apply" to the end of the wording where they allow you to check off the "re-list 3 (or 2) times" box.
If you go to each listing you can revise the listing by unchecking the box. If you click on that check mark at the end of "fees may apply", it now states "Automatically relisted items count towards monthly free-insertion-fee limits. Insertion fees apply when this limit is exceeded. Advanced listing upgrade and final value fees still apply." That is a HUGE difference from the way it used to be.
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
That's pretty underhanded. I think a legal case could be made against this. They're basically dangling a free offer in front of their customers and then automatically charging a fee on auto renewal with no opt out warning before charging the fee.
I'm tying to find a way to remove auto relist by bulk. One at a time is rediculous. Any ideas
I collect Seattle Pilots autographs, 1969 Topps autographs, Signed Mickey Mantle Home Run History cards and have a JC Martin collection (he was my college Baseball coach) Doug

I had same issue and contacted customer service. They said it was my fault even though it was done in October, before their announcement. They said they remove the listing fees though.
So far I can't find any way to remove the relist option in bulk... I have to revise each auction one at a time... times 1200 auctions. I just had 49 more auto-relist. These were from when they had a promo for free 10-day auction listings, so I just got charged $0.40 per auction, automatically. I'm freaking beside myself...
Well after receiving my ebay invoice and seeing over $150 in listing fees from automatically relisted auctions, I finally called ebay to have the fees removed. They actually removed the fees without batting an eyelash. Every red cent was removed that was from the automatically relisted auctions. I'm so glad I called. I feel bad for those who just pay it because they think they have to.
I also had to go through over 1000 auctions INDIVIDUALLY and make sure the auto-relist box was unchecked. I mentioned this to the customer service rep, and he said unfortunately that's the only way to do it at this time. There is currently no way to remove that feature in bulk, but they are currently working on adding that option to the bulk editing tool.
I had the same issue, but with less listings (about 100) so it wasnt as big of a problem. I find it funny that ebay can change everything, including the sign in page, virtually every month, but somehow they dont have a tool to remove the relist feature in bulk

Also, if it didn't sell after 30 days I want to reevaluate the specifics in the listing ie: price, picture, description, etc.
Any ideas
