Guy's, I wanted to get your opinions on this. An auction of mine ended yesterday and a zero feedback user that created the account on 3-12 won the auction. No surprise the user has not paid for it yet. I am not holding my breath they will either, but it has only been since yesterday. I have a very nice 76 set up for sale from the doulbles I mentioned in a thread here earlier. It has been bid up to around 150 but I expect it will go higher. Is it jumping the gun to block this user from my current auctions ? I don't want to have them win two or 3 auctions and not pay, and have to either relist or send 2nd chance offers to people.
The reason why this even crosses my mind is that not too long ago, I lost out on a few unique items to a zero feedback user, and I contacted the seller. I told them that it looked fishy when they contacted me for a 2nd chance offer. I ended up working with that seller, and buying the items, and I am very satisfied. I have no idea why someone would set up a zero feedback account, then bid on peoples auctions to screw them over, but it seems like it might be happening. Maybe to drive up their own auctions ???
What do you guy's think ? Is it over the top to block that user right now from my auction that ends tomorrow ? Thanks for your advice.
