Most eBay auctions won in a day?

I've set a new personal record for 141 snipes set to go off with the same seller today. I think 56 is my previous high for wins, but should outdo that.

  • Holy Moly, that is a lot! I average about 5 wins a MONTH, so I would say 2 or 3 in a day would be my record.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Nope, only 1 and it's not even for the Larkin collection. Seller had a ton of singles for some 90s insert/parallel sets I'm working.

I don't think it's possible for me to find 141 new Larkin's in a month that I don't have, unless I start going for the cards after his playing years.

My highest is 47 or 48 cards from the same seller all ending the same day. They were all upgrades for a set I put together over 20 years ago. The seller is a member here.

You, sir, are an enabler. Just as some of us were coming to terms with our eBay addiction, you throw out that number and, by way of comparison, we think *we* are just fine... but that Larkin guy, cripes, he has a problem. image

I've probably bought that many from COMC in one go as I cobbled together 90's insert sets, but I honestly wouldn't have the patience to place that many snipes in a single day!

No idea how many I've won on eBay in a single day, but I would be surprised if it were more than 20 and that would have been the result of a set break I was interested in being offered up.

You're all welcome for the enabling and yes I do have a problem image Won 80 w/2 2nd chance offers this morning (he had doubles) and think I was the underbidder on at least 90% of the rest. Only regret is missing out on the 97 Best MI Inverted Refractor with Maddux/Smoltz, but I put in a strong bid and it wasn't meant to be.

I think 130 in one day was my record for wins from a seller - it was a probstein day, and among other things, I picked up about a third of a PSA graded Dad's Cookies hockey set, all sold individually. I had a recent day from him with something in excess of 90 wins, and the majority had me as the only bidder (oddball foreign set, SGC graded).
