Not Topps

Just wondering how many of you out there can say that Topps Co. cards are less than 50% of your collection (in either value or quantity). If this is the case, what other companies, years, card issues makes Topps a minority stake in your card portfolio.

    I would guess not many. I know I can't.

I have a lot of Topps but for me it is less than 50%. Big into OPC though.

Now if you restricted the question to just baseball, then maybe Topps is the majority for me. However, with all the sports considered, there are many other brands out there that all totaled up together certainly outnumber the Topps ones, especially considering european/foreign in the mix too.

I'd never really thought about it before, but I collect way more non-Topps releases than Topps. These are all football:

    Non-Topps PSA Sets
    1935 National Chicle
    1948 Leaf
    1948, 1950-1955 Bowman
    1960-1963 Fleer
    1964-1967 Philadelphia
    1961 Nu Card

    Topps PSA Sets
    1951 (Magic), 1955 (All-American), 1956-1959, & 1965.

    Mixed PSA Sets
    Pro Football HOF RC

As far as raw sets, I do have some Topps insert sets from the 60's & 70's, but most of my raw insert or master sets are from the 90's with very few being Topps. image
