This has to be a joke, right? The team that consistently and deliberately puts out AAA lineups for regular season games is "outraged" the Sox sent minor leaguers for a spring training game?

    This might actually be the best line from the article - put that in your pie-hole Marlins front office......................

    "Thursday’s game between the Marlins and Red Sox was called after eight innings due to rain with both teams tied at zero. Boston’s lineup out-hit Miami’s, 7-2."

    .......................The Marlins must have put their first class team on the field - and still got only two freaking hits off the Sox 'second squad' pitchers.

    Just a quick second thought on this - the Marlins actually charged a premium for this game in hopes to draw more revenue. If I were a Marlins fan, I'd be pretty ticked at the organization for charging a premium during a spring training game. That's pretty pathetic.

    I thought there was a rule in Spring Training that you have to play at least 4 starters. That's why teams can only play 2 games a day(split squads).
