Dan Dee Chips Cards

Does anyone collect these? Curious as to why they are priced so high and any other info? Thx!

I used to own the Feller. Really cool cards in my opinion. They are slightly hard to find, and extremely hard to find in good condition. They came in bags of potato chips, so they are often creased up, and a lot of times have grease stains from the chips.

They are nice cards and a few hard short prints but they are available if you have the money. They have a thick wax feel that sometimes made them a little yellow. The 54 red hearts are nice too. Dave and Adams has a low grade set of 54 Red hearts for sale.

I put the set together last year and eventually sold it. Cards are very difficult to find with out stains and have a wax coating that can get chipped and scratched. The short prints are especially difficult. I purchased a raw set and it seems that anything that graded above a PSA 6 sold very well after I sent them to PSA.

Regional issue, so my understanding is they are especially difficult to find on the west coast. Obviously ebay has made that easier.

Very cool set and it was alot of fun to assemble it.
