Red Flip Poppage

Ran these under a Feb special. 30 day service, popped on day 9! On top of the grades you see below, all autos were authenticated. Carbo is part of my 1974 Red Sox team set. Carpenter is part of a complete 50 states set. Kuechenberg has a cool "17-0" inscription. Photos to follow, but I'm pleased

1 22683769 NEAR MINT-MINT 8 1970 TOPPS 400 DENNY McLAIN Card
2 22683770 NEAR MINT 7 1974 TOPPS 621 BERNIE CARBO Card
3 22683771 MINT 9 1995 SCORE 459 FRED McGRIFF Card

The Carbo photo isn't great and I don't have a photo of the Carpenter yet.

Thanks! I absolutely love that card! The old school glasses, the plain style of the 1970 Topps, the blue ink against the white shirt..... I just got this in person in November, same night I got McGriff. Both really classy guys too

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I usually don't get too excited about graded copies of the more modern cards. In fact, this was the first time I subbed (or bought slabbed) anything newer than 1983. But I just looked up the A&G States set and found out a Carpenter had never been graded at all, even unsigned. Feels like my PSA 9 with authenticated auto is a true 1/1 and should be for awhile. That's pretty cool.

I would have had Denny McClain sign a 1968 Topps card

Turns out the mcgriff and carbo are also the only graded/certified copies of those cards. And McLain and kuechenberg are the 2nd graded/certified copies of those cards, and the highest graded.
