Greg Morris

Is there a harder working eBay seller than this guy?

My heavens...he has set breaks running over the next two days of 1952 Topps, 1953, 1967, 1959, 1961and 1972...and that's just his baseball auctions!

Amazing.

He seems to have perfected the art if of the "set break" on eBay, often getting several dollars for low number cards that most of us couldn't get a buck for, has obviously earned a loyal group of set builders. Not sure if his high grade raw cards pan out as such, anybody have experience with his cards listed as NM or Better?

He's pretty accurate. Sometimes he misses stuff while I've also gotten a few 9s on the "NM-MT" cards. I win very few cards from him anymore though. Why pay $20 for a NM-MT raw card when you can buy an 8 for $10?

    Sorry, troll. He's no relation

  • Greg is dead on the best.

His cards are super nice and accurately graded and many are nicer than the grade he lists.

Im sure he likely misses a few here and there on those "In betweens" and if thats the case he will always refund no questions asked.

Why pay more for his raws? because 9 times out of 10, they're nicer than the inconsistant cards in graded slabs.

of coarse now days most are more interested in the label on the slab than the card itself. so the slabbed card is best for them.

I just won some of the nicest 68 Topps football cards you will ever see from Greg and Yes I gave graded card prices for some those raw cards,
but many of the others I feel I got steals of deals on. Why did I give graded card price for some of Gregs Raws?
Because I know the high quality card im going to get from Greg will not disappoint. I can't say the same thing when breaking cards from slabs.

Picked up this beauty awhile back from one of Greg's auction for under 20 Bucks, must have caught some people sleeping.

Everything .99 cent auction style with no corrupt shilling that I can see at this point. Whats not to like?

Gotta go! Greg has a 1975 Topps Football set break going on! Gotta see what beauties I might need!

The troll is the one who can't take a joke, sir. I must admit, in 6 years on this board, that's the first time that adjective has been lobbed my way.

Sorry, vito. I didn't take your comment as a joke at all. I took it as a snarky, comment aimed at a guy allegedly shilling Morris's auctions. Nothing was further from the truth.

I was only making a comment - yes, a nice comment - about someone whom I wouldn't know if he walked into my local Starbucks. I just happened to win a few of his cards, I clicked on "check seller's other items" and I was pretty darned impressed with his activity list.

That was it. No further agenda whatsoever.

Maybe if I'd have followed your posts closer, I would have picked up on the joke. But, darn it, I missed it.

Sorry about that. I'll file it away for the next time.

    Good catch, railside!
  • thanks SOM, and this "The last card I got in the ‘57 set was Gino Cimoli, six years after the Koufax, at a great store in Grand Rapids, MI that I used to frequent whenever I was in town.” is the store I work part time in.

gotta hunch Sean no longer needs this forum to get the attention he seeks.

I've had several great dealings with Greg. Just last week, I paid for 3 auctions on Monday and received the cards on Wednesday. I'm in Maryland and Greg is in California.
