He probably just didnt want to spend the energy signing it the proper way, these clowns ruin anything they sign 95% of the time imo.

That sig is unreal. For Pete's sake, people are paying you for your signature...at least give them a half decent one.

If you don't want to, then don't sign. It's that simple Ewing.

Sad thing is...When he signed in December for this same company you got a sig like the one on bottom. This company needs to get it together.

    That's not a name, it's an initial.

The loop in the P doesn't even match.... how much does he charge?

Company charged 125 per auto...not even sure they will pass PSA.

Wow his signature was poor to begin with, those "initialized" ones are just awful IMO. I would be pissed if I paid out $375. for those 3 and demand a refund.

Just got my second batch back and I'm rather ticked off. Just a "P" and a squiggle. His previous sigs 6 weeks ago weren't legible, but there was some substance. I think the rep that was handling this follow-up signing should've put their foot down and either garnered full signatures or cancelled the session. This is embarrassing and I would make it right if I were providing my customers with this garbage. To be charged $125 per on these and then another round of shipping really stinks. Shame on Ewing and shame on Steiner for accepting such inferior quality! And shame on me for being stuck paying for it!!!

The worst part is that I requested these in ballpoint. I knew that they would be tough to see, but at least the full signature would've been visible. I prefer ballpoint sigs as the ink of choice on my HOF RC unless it is not possible.

Scott thank you for so eloquently stating my thoughts. I sent these in back in November for the original signing but these were missed so now I am stuck with this crap. Also, they have lost a Frank Robinson rookie I sent in for a November signing...What is going on up there?

I'd ask for a refund, your cards are basically devalued.

Ewing is perhaps the biggest Jackhole in sports when it comes to treating fans poorly, and that is saying something. That is absolutely pathetic for charging what he does.

Horrible. An obvious disrespect for his fanbase. What happened to pride/self respect for your image. 2 suggestions. 1) Might be a good idea for promoters to display an actual sample auto. that you will receive for any mail-in auto. requests. Then you could decide if the price is worth the auto. If the auto. you are to receive cannot come close to the displayed one, a refund is accepted for lack of proper representation. 2) When in person at a show/signing view the autos. already done ahead of you. If sig. is unacceptable don't buy an auto. ticket. Vote with your wallet.

By comparison, it would take a Starbucks barista two 6 hour shifts to earn what Patrick got for tossing off that chicken scratch. The sports-industrial complex has gotten too big and too arrogant.

I wonder if PSA will certify that joke of a $125 autograph if you submitted it with the Steiner COA.

Wow, that's pretty bad. Makes me wonder if Ewing actually signed those or if someone at Steiner went rogue in order to complete items not done.

It could have started when Jalen Rose stole his TV/VCR. image

Talking with the Company and they are trying to get another signing.
  • WTH is that! Where is the pride in signing your name! For the promoter to accept that garbage from an athlete they are paying is unacceptable. For the promoter to then accept it on our behalf as paying customers is disgusting. Do they have managers/supervisors at Steiner or is the place run by a monkey?

That's pretty sad, although not being an autograph guy I can't imagine why I would want a signature from anybody. But this is definitely a guy who has no respect for his fans, or himself for that matter.

Really bad. I thought his autograph was horrible to begin with but that is unacceptable. I did pick up a signed Ewing 8x10 via Steiner when they had a special price of 99.99 only because I knew his horrific history with autographs. This guy has zero problem saying no to autograph seekers and has always been a tuff sig. I'd stay on top of Steiner and demand a refund or credit. I'm sure that's not what you paid for. I wonder if he did the whole signing like that or if he get upset at some point or another. ? It's a small miracle they even got him to agree to one signing much less multiple signings. I hope they make good on it.

They knew they were sending you a crap product in the first place, they should should have come to you. But really what does another signing do? Maybe he'll give you a few more letters? At least they could refund their cut back to you.

Keep in mind he was likely signing these cards at the Gold Club
