Tampered?

I'm no expert yet on determining how much frosting is suspicious on a PSA slab. Please weigh in on this one.

Coming from 4SC I would not be worried about it.

Really? Because recent threads about them are what have me a little concerned.

Wouldn't worry about them cracking anything out. Most peoples concerns about 4sharp revolve around how many Gem Mint 10's they get and sell. One must take into account however how many cards they sub at one time. Likely more than most people sub in a year total. When one looks at it that high way, very high volume, then the amount of Gem 10's or even 9's they receive from PSA equals out...

Those have nothing to do with tampering and that slab looks good. If you see frosting between the border around the card and the outside edges of the slab where it 'snaps' together, that's when you need to be concerned.

A real bummer was when I got my first sub back, I dropped a 1974 dave Parker RC PSA 8 onto the pavement. Completely frosted the bottom right corner. I'm hoping that since its one little spot people will still be able to tell that there's not enough frosting to indicate the case was cracked open

Nobody is tampering with cases that hold $24 cards.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

I wonder if this type of frosting might be associated with bigger holders??

This looks like an effect of the scan itself. No tampering with this case.

    Thanks,
