Since I have seen these cards go crazy lately, should I have this for sale card graded or sell raw? 1993 SP FOIL DEREK JETER RC #279 Thanks for all replies. Jim

I'd get it graded. I'd say 8.5-9. Kinda hard to tell with the dark background.

No higher than an 8 if all the corners have issues as they appear to.

+1 and I think that may be why he went with the darker scan. Can see the corners well. Assuming that annoying 93 SP Prospect surface ain't too scratched up, and the back is nice. 8 Also.

I thought the black background would be better. LOOL dust makes it seem likes he's playing in water! Still wortha sub?

Now that scan makes it look like a 7 due to the left upper corner. Although I think it's a shadow along the upper border making it appear worse than it is.

Still, it's Derek Jeter. If you plan on keeping it for your personal collection, I see no reason why you wouldn't sub it.

From what I've noticed in recent auctions, strong raw versions of this card are selling for the same as PSA 8 graded.

Probably only worth grading if there's a chance at 8.5 or 9.
