For three years during world war II the US mint produced coins for our allies "down under". Three pence pieces were struck in San Francisco and Denver in '42 and '43, and in San Fran alone in '44.

These cute little coins were struck in silver more pure than our own circulating coins (British sterling standard = 92.5% pure vs. our own 90% pure). They weigh about a gram and a half each.

I'm offering two of these historically interesting silver coins: 1942 & 1943, both struck in Denver, Colorado. Your choice for $5 or $8 for the pair shipped.
