Nice pickup, this one is an unfilled gap in my "bronze penny" collection
A question though, I've never seen a low grade example on sale, so did they ever circulate?

I dont think so with a Mintage of 24,000 you never know. I may find a bag of them by a old oak tree when walking a dog .
I need to go get a dog.
