Undergraded? Or not?

To me this card looks NM. Is the top / bottom centering just to much to be NM. In person this card presents better than some higher graded cards out there. The off center top/bottom looks much more natural on this card vs. hard left/right centering. I just wanted some feedback from the board. Thanks

I think it has to be the top to bottom centering. The corners look pretty strong and the side to side centering looks good too.

Hopefully some experts on this specific issue can chime in.

This is a great looking card and I don't think the centering issue is that distracting so it still presents very well.

I agree the surface is very bright and glossy it looks like it came from a pack.

I am going to go look for some high grades and see what the centering looks like. There are plenty of great cards in PSA 6 holders because of top to bottom centering. This may be one of them.

A quick glance and we have the answer. Defiantly the top to bottom centering.

I took a look and I agree it's the top bottom centering. The rest of the card is so nice they could of called it NM!

Probably could be an SGC 84.

I think this card could have potentially graded NM-MT but the centering took it down two grade points and it got a PSA 6.

Personally I like corners a lot and on a card like this where the centering issue is not distracting corners to me would be much more important.

The corners look sharper in person my scanner isn't real sharp.

The centering is definitely an issue but there also appears to be some slight discoloration on the top portion of the back of the card.

It's very hard to see with the naked eye but showed on the scanner. I've been scouting these cards and seen 8's with many times more dis coloring then this. So I'm not sure if they downgrade because of it.

I've had at least 20 of these graded over the years and it is definitely the top/bottom centering that caused the 6. I think better centering would've gotten you an 8 here. L/R centering looks really good and the corners look similar to most of the 8's that I've gotten.

Solid 6 from pretty much any of the big 3 graders. T/B centering hurts it the most. Still a great looking card.

Ok I'm back, finished dinner and ready to post more pics of the corners (hope nobody is getting annoyed with this). I've never spent this much on a card before so I'm really excided about this! When I told my girlfriend I bought the card she asked how much I spent I told her, her first response was I'm going to pretend I didn't here that! So when I showed it to her she wasn't impressed oh well win some lose some. (I Win on this one!) So here are some pics I took with my phone (Careful corners are razor sharp!)
