Question for the Ticket guys

I sent him my first ticket to be authenticated under the November special. Ticket returned, "No Grade, No Charge". That's it.

So, my question, which I guess is sort of a complaint, is why doesn't PSA tell you why it wasn't authenticated. I think a little note would go a long way. Is this normal?

Did you send it in to get a numerical grade or just authenticated ? If it was for a grade, and PSA determined that it had been altered or trimmed they wouldn't give it a grade, but should authenticate it as authentic if you specified for them to do so. What type of ticket was it ? If it was a Ticketmaster ticket they won't grade or authenticate those either.

It was only for authentication (not grade), and it was a ticketmaster ticket. If that is the case, why in the heck would the rep who filled out my form (dropped off at show) not tell me that, and charge me $18 to mail it. What a crock.

Why don't they grade ticket master tickets anyways?

I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be something along the lines of a lack of standard from one ticketmaster to another. There will be different quality and sizez of tickets printed, depending on where the ticket is printed from; something that can't be verified or controlled by PSA. There are basically varying standards.
