I either forgot or never knew Seaver played in Boston. Sports cards are educational.

Only for a half a season. This White Sox traded him for Steve Lyons halfway thru '86 to appease him because he wanted to play closer to home. The other possible destination was the Yankees, but the ChiSox and Yanks couldn't work out a deal. Seaver didn't play in the 1986 post-season (I believe he was hurt), and he retired the next Spring.

I'm just glad you put the Seaver rack aside.

Collecting:
Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.
<< <i>Mike, I know you collect Seaver, but do you collect him in all unis or just mets' >>
No, I collect any pack that has Seaver showing. I overlook the fact that other teams borrowed him over the years.
So where is the ripping? Do I need to send some experienced rippers over for assistance? There are plenty to choose from and you all know who you are!!

Even I don't touch 87 Donruss without a Larkin on top.

Not even with a Rose on top?

Couldn't rip that one, I've got a stack of better centered Rose's from that year and that looks in the 9(OC)-straight 8 range. Non-rippable unopened is not for me...
Leaf from that year would be an entirely different story, but I don't think they were issued in that packaging.
