Large lot purchase

Just curious as to what a fair offer would be for a large collection I am looking at purchasing. 90% of the lot is non sport items, 10% is sports related. Raw numbers include approx. 1150 wax boxes, 1400 sets, some 1980's garbage pail kids, 27 sets of 1981 Donruss Golf and a bunch of odds and ends. Most of the non sport items are from 1980-1991 and include such overprinted stuff as 110 boxes of Dick Tracy, 61 boxes of Hook, 89 boxes of Desert Storm and things like that.
Doing the research on ebay, I found that the average sell price for all the items came to $23,500 before ebay fees/paypal fees/taxes are figured in. Many of the items are junk that wont even sell for 99 cents and some of the better items might sell for $50-$80. With roughly 3000 different items, thats a little under 8 bucks and item before fees. I have a number in mind, but wouldnt mind hearing from people who might have purchased large lots with a lot of items as to what a fair price would be.
