original GPK garbage pail kids

My wife has some vintage GPK cards, but says they're not in good condition. She described them as "opened, handled and rubber-banded together for years" so I'm guessing we have some dinged corners and possible damage on the sides from the band.

Should she keep them for nostalgia? or are they worth pricing out?

    That's what I figured, but there are so many videos on YouTube of people enjoying GPK again! Saw one video with over 8,500 hits ... of a guy opening a pack of GPK cards ... so that's why I decided to ask.
