Bulk submission: Receive Hold???

Hello all,
I recently submitted a 142 card order to PSA for the Feb 6.00 bulk special.
It appeared today, but shows "receive hold" as the status.
I called PSA, and the guy said one of the cards does not qualify for the special, but that the lady who can help me already left for the day.

The only cards that I can think wouldn't qualify are the (29) Montana rookies.
Anybody ever submitted these under the bulk special before? My take is 100.00 or less.....If I get back a bunch of 7 and 8 ' they are. If I get 9 or 10s they arent.
How is this handled...it could be either or.

Thanks in advance!

Did you have anything post 1990? That was my issue on the receive hold status.

    Thanks,

  • Yes, I have a bunch of Favre rookies in the sub as well....did you have to do anything?
  • They'll ask you if you want to submit them under a different promotion/level. Probably along the lines of $8/card for anything post 90, or just send them back to you in which case you'll have to eat the additional return shipping. You'll know tomorrow for sure, they'll email you with your options
    It never leaves you...

  • I wonder what possible reason 1990 would be the cutoff? You would think they would want to slab as much post 1990 stuff as possible to take business from Beckett.

Oh well...76 cards are post 1990. Wonder what the chances are of them giving me the 7.00 per card fee on them since I submitted 142 total.
    Probably slim to none.

the 2 submissions I sent on Wednesday were just logged as a receive hold as well, never seen that before. They were regular submissions so it just might be a pre login status.
