Pick-Up Thread

Am interested in maybe starting a new monthly "pick-up" thread, as the current one dates back to 2005 and on my laptop this sometimes causes delay due to its 8 years of history and all of its images, etc. Anyone think this is a good idea? Would gladly give 'Stone' the honor of starting this "new" thread near the 1st of the month...Thanks, LMK what you think, Pat

Would prefer any 'pick up' thread stay out of a sports card forum Unless that was what this place was about when you were here before. (eeeeeeechhhh)

Can someone post 'The Thread' link to ensure the modern generation can see it, and also verify why 'mintacular' is being sooo annoyingly proper and polite in these messages.

Sorry, Pat - I think you're going to meet with stiff resistance to this. Like Paul said, that thread is drama free and a CU mainstay. Maybe you could edit your settings so that there aren't as many posts per page. That way there won't be so many images trying to load.
