Babe Ruth Signed Letter - real signature or stamp?

Hello,
I have a signed Babe Ruth letter that was passed down to me from my grandfather. It has never been verified and I was wondering if the signature is real or just a stamp.
I did some research and found only one letter that looks like it:
http://www.hakes.com/item.asp?Auction=202&ItemNo=94275
Does anyone have any idea if these are hand signed letters? Where should I go to have these verified? I know PSA is the gold standard but I'm not comfortable sending this in the mail.
I live in the New York City region - are there place I could go around here?
Thanks for your consideration

Yeah ... PSA! From this website:
To meet the needs of collectors and dealers on the East Coast, PSA has a location in Woodbridge, New Jersey, centrally located between New York City and Philadelphia where the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike meet. Autograph authentication is processed onsite, including encapsulation of standard and tallboy sized authenticated cuts and cards. All other items are accepted for submission, such as trading cards, tickets, original photographs, unopened packs and game-used items; however, such items will be shipped to the appropriate destination for processing by PSA. Drop-off submissions are accepted by appointment only Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Items submitted by mail must be directed to the California office. Contact customer service at 800-325-1121 to schedule your appointment today!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

They estimate it's only worth $200-$400, so they must think it's not a real autograph. Plus, they don't even mention the autograph in the description.

Other option is to post it on the Net 54 autograph Forum where a lot of vintage autograph collectors post, and I'm sure they can help you out.
Good Luck!
