Having restarted my collecting 24 years ago I/we have seen all the bells and whistles-autographs,1 of 1's,serial #'ed, low #'s,refractors, jersey cards, bat cards, imbeded shoe pieces, graded cards etc. You get the idea. My question: What do you think the next latest craze will consist of to keep the collector interest? What else can be done to a piece of cardboard? Is the grading card frenzy the peak? Thanks for your thoughts.

(1) Redemption insert with personalized audio message from player (and personalized auto on opposite side of card):
e.g., if Bob Smith wins a Mike Trout audio redemption, the card comes back w/ audio message with Trout saying something like: "Thanks, Bob Smith, for being a fan. See you at the ballpark sometime" or "Johnny, your dad told me it's your birthday coming up soon. I'll dedicate my next home run just for you."
(2) Redemption insert for an entire game used jersey or bat (instead of just a cut on a card).
(3) Game used card will specify year or even game the piece came from.
e.g., bat piece from a bat used in Trout's rookie year, jersey piece from one of Mantle's WS years, bat piece from a bat used for Jeter's 3234th hit.

Yeah, I don't know. I was actually thinking an LCD display actually on the card.
