any ideas what city this team was in? any info about the photo at all?

Probably a semi-pro league, they were big back in the day.

Thanks Perry, hope you are as well. Sometimes these semi-pro pictures
are desirable because they may have a Major leaguer in them either before
he made it or after his career was finished. This specific club I never heard
of before.

Could be West End (avenue) Manhattan.
