Mech error reholder turnaround times?

What's typical when sending these in to be corrected? Also I've heard some people grumble about loggage time. I've noticed a big difference when I do and don't put the type of order on the outside of the package (5 day, 10 day etc). If you don't your asking for it. When I have, even bulk, it's usually within a few days. Just random thoughts this morning...
It never leaves you...

Just make sure you actually review your labels when you get your cards back. I just sent the same mech. order back to PSA for the 4th time (technically, first time was grading raw, and now they are on their 3rd round of mech error sub). PSA absolutely agreed with the corrections I requested. The first time I sent them, the grading report on my electronic account records showed the corrections had been made to the specs. If you type in the cert nos., the corrections were there. Same for the pop report and for the set registries. Problem was that someone forgot to actually open the holders and change the physical labels. I called and talked to someone about it, then sent them in again. Seemingly unbelievable, but I got them back again with the same problem in that no one opened the holders to fix them. So, away they went a couple days ago for a 3rd or 4th time depending on how you count it.
All that said, I don't really mean to sit here and complain, but instead just wanted to pass on the advice that you take a second to review your labels instead of assuming they were revised to match the electronic records.
Good luck!

<< <i>I have a few mechanical errors I've accumulated over the years (wrong player name, wrong card company, etc.). Is there any return shipping cost to get the cards back to me? What service level do you write outside the box? I'm assuming you'd check "other" on the sub form and write in mechanical error, correct? >>
Return shipping is free. You write "mech error" on the box, which equates to 7-day I believe. And yes, you check "other", write mech error, and describe the error on the sub form.
