Late 1970's Topps Football Wax Boxes

I need some advice on late 1970's Topps Football Wax boxes. How rare are these boxes today? I see the occasional box go up for auction but not enough to get a sense on how much these boxes are worth. I know that BBCE's buy prices for these boxes went up significantly from late last year. For example I know that a 1977 Topps Football Wax Box BBCE sealed went for $1600 or so in the fall. I know see that his buy price is $1200 from $800. Does this mean that a BBCE sealed box would now go for $2400?

No, BBCE doesnt normally mark their stuff up 2x. For tough wax, they know they will sell it so they pay competitively.
