1971 Brooks Robinson PSA 8 from PWCC Auction

Has to be a record for a PSA 8. Final price $912. Looks like a solid bump candidate to an 8.5 which could/would off set the cost. Some very strong finishing prices for PWCC.

That is a very tough card to pull in an 8. They seem to hardly go up for sale.

Too many underbidders with numerous bid retractions. Makes this auction and the final price look suspect.

I didn't check the bid history. Don't care for the bid retraction stuff ... ever.

The more I check out completed past auction history, and the more I check into this auction in particular, I believe that this was a bogus auction and I hope VCP throws out the sales price.
