I finally picked up one of these. Should have it this week and then off to psa. Mine will prob be in the 5-6 range but the card is so hard to find... I didn't care about the condition. Thanks to Wrestlingcardking for bringing this card to light... And sumoman for tracking one down.

Got the card today. Off to psa this weekend. Thanks again sumoman. Should be an interesting sub. I'm including the hogan and flair from the 1982 vending set and an 1981 Gong Flair and 1982 Gong hogan. It's a cc renewal so hopefully it pops in a week or two once it's logged.

Happy to see another one of these Hogan 1981 cards getting graded, good luck with your sub. It is exciting to know that you have the cards in on a CC special as the wait will not be too long.

I just mailed them on Monday.. They still haven't even gotten to psa. Hopefully they log next week. It might take a little longer to pop because 8 cards are from sets that have never been graded before.

I just got mine back from psa. I equate the Japanese cards to Star basketball sets and the 82 all star set to the 86 fleer basketball. I like the earliest card but others will prefer the card from a mainstream set.

Here are the other Japanese cards from the sub. I'm happy they were slabbed but psa was extremely tough on these. I reviewed the Cosmo Flair and still think its a 9 at the very least an 8.

The only thing I can think of on the flair is the picture is not extremely sharp. I figured this was how all of these were. Have you ever seen any with a really sharp image?

Rob you have introduced a multitude of new cards to the graded wrestling card market. Thank you too.

What is wild is in 2009 there were 3,600 active listings on EBAY for wrestling cards. Today that number sits at over 41,000.

I have noticed that the prices have jumped dramatically too!

I will be working on getting a bunch of 1974 and 1976 Yamakatsu cards graded and soon the 1982 BBM cards from Japan.

You have the Cosmos or Gong at psa? Was your Flair well focused?

This Hogan Popy card went for $1000 raw on a Japanese auction site. The word is definitely out on this card now.

This card is turning out to be really rare.

Almost every Hogan figure you see doesn't have his card on the front like all of the others do.

    Nice find on this!

I saw that on Yahoo Auctions. The days of find in good deals on wrestling cards ate few and far between. A great, iconic card for sure.

These Hogan popy cards are simply not showing up even though people are aware that this card exists......i was hoping to find a mid grade example to get one signed but that has not happened either since I got the first one.
