54 homers in 1949. Ralph was a steady power hitter.

Is it even possible to make the Hall today with a ten year career?

I'm sure Grote can think of the other announcer for the Mets back in the 70's, but it was Kiner, Lindsay Nelson, and someone
    else who I can't remember.

The Yankees had Bill White, Scooter Rizzuto, and someone else too. I think both NY tv stations had three announcers.
