So, since the Shield Nickel is a key grading candidate, what would be a few other coins that would have value added via grading?
Since I'm not a PCGS member, I'm looking at $82 (silver membership + regular fee), or $150 to get 4 coins graded. Since none of these will be kept and all will be sold (if possible), I'm looking to maximize my return. I'd rather not just submit coins unless it's likely to increase their value by more than the grading fees.
I would send in the 1880 dime and 1880 shield nickel. The dime should grade, the nickel may. The rest of your list seems pretty much run-of-the-mill. Even if you get just a genuine on the 1880 nickel it will be worth the cost. The big pictures kinda highlight the rim bump so it may not be so severe as to not grade--well worth the chance. Perhaps you should start collecting shield nickels as you already have the big key date.
