More ebay fun

Am selling a few non sport wax boxes on ebay and have changed my listing instead of free shipping, decided to list it at a lower price of $5.99 a box + actual shipping (which is around $10 now). I had someone email me and ask if I would include free shipping if he bought a box. Basically he was asking me if I would sell him a $5.99 box and include $10 shipping free. I would be further ahead to mail him $4 cash and keep the cards and call it a day
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

It's a little cheaper to ship wax boxes using a Flat Rate Padded Mailer, or a Regional Rate A box, but I get what you're saying.
  • I get people asking me all the time if I would just send the card in a PWE with a stamp and call it a day. I always tell them no and that they don't have to bid if they don't like the terms. People don't take into account that it costs for a padded mailer (for singles), tape, paper for the label, top loader, penny sleeve and gas to get to the post office.

A wax box in a flat rate padded mailer? Is it even possible to do that without it getting damaged?

I guess it depends on what size wax box we're talking about... some are smaller than others. Which is why I also mentioned the Regional Rate A boxes. They can be shipped from $6 to $8 depending on where it's headed.

I will echo the regional rate box A option. They are very similar in size to the medium flare rate boxes and still allow for enough room to protect the boxes with bubble wrap. Just go to USPS.com to order them.

tell him you would do it only if he sends you cash only and then pocket the money and open a non payment on ebay

I edit almost all my posts because my auto correct is crazy !
  • A couple of years ago, someone on this board wrote. "I have a question. You're an idiot."
I wouldn't actually send that to him, but I'd amuse myself by imagining his reaction of receiving said message.
