Replica vs. Proline football helmet for autograph

I have paid for an autograph session with a recently minted HOFamer (class 2014) in 2 weeks.
I want to bring a HOF helmet for him to sign, but am not sure if a replica or actual/proline helmet would be best.
The proline helmet appears to be $100-$120 more expensive than the replica.
In terms of long-term value, is there a major difference between the 2?
