I picked this up a few days ago. I love Thurm's sh*t-eating grin. Caption reads:
"FORT DIX, N.J., Aug 15 -- Battery, Attenshun!--New York Yankee battery-mates catcher Thurman Munson, left, and pitcher Stan Bahnsen get a military pitch fom Drill Sgt. John K. Cook of Liverpool, N.Y. during a training session at Fort Dix, N.J. The two baseball players are taking part in a two-week active tour of duty in Basic Combat Training (AP WIREPHOTO)"
Interesting that the Yankees had a game on Aug 15, 1970 at 2:05pm and Munson played the complete game, as well as games on Aug 16, on the road Aug 22, 23, 24, 26, and back to NY on Aug 28, 29 and 31.

LOL, he is trying hard not to look at the officer...wonder how Munson's 'stache would have fared a few years later, LOL..
