About damn time at least a token punter is included. I mean seriously, it is just so silly to have only one kicker and now a HOF-elect punter (he isn't REALLY a HOFer until he actually receives his bust/gold jacket, hence the -elect part), and while they are definitely not the positions that get "all the chicks" (I think even in the locker room they often are not treated as "real" football players), anyone with even a basic knowledge of football knows how vital it is to have a truly reliable kicker and punter...think of the embarrassing disaster that will result for the whole if more than a precious few kicks or punts are blocked/missed. image

As a punter in high school , I tried like hell to be like Ray Guy . I used to lift off the ground with each punt . I had the distance . I actually never had a punt blocked in 5 years of punting ( mostly because of great line blocking ). I even was all county in my last 3 years .

What I didn't have was the confidence . I looked like I was nervous , I acted like I was nervous . I used to pace the side lines before each field goal or punt . I had that little dog look . Tremendous leg , great ability , but never ending fear of getting hurt . Oh yea , I broke my hand twice ( 21 bones once ) and fingers a few times in late roughing the kicker issues .

Ray Guy should've been in the HOF a long time ago . He was a monster , kicking wise . Most of his punts were a thing of beauty .

Congratulations to Ray Guy image ---- Sonny
