Who was the genius that changed Ebay's listing page?

Who's brilliant idea was it to change to a "Payment Policy" and a "Shipping Policy" instead of just clicking "free shipping" or putting in a price for shipping. Now there is a bunch of policy numbers that looks like a bunch of jiberish. Ebay is ran by a bunch of idiots. Sorry, I just had to vent. Now, back to listing.

It's been like that for at least six months, because I got back into it in July and that's how it has been for me the whole time. Personally, I love it. I have one named "Priority Small Box", one named "1-3 Ounce Bubble", etc. When I list something that fits one of those categories, the whole shipping policy is right there for me to select.

Interesting. I have been listing constantly. I listed something even earlier today and it wasn't that way. It was like it always was. Then tonight, all of the sudden, it changes. I do free shipping on everything, so I don't see why I should have to give all of those details.

  • I think if you dig into it you will find that it will actually be easier. You can create a policy for free shipping, then set that as your default shipping policy. Then when you list you don't have to click anything at all. It's already done for you.

Mine just changed yesterday. It's odd that the changes occur at different times for different sellers.

Agreed. Its nothing but an extra hassle and I hate it. Ebay always makes changes for the worst.

Also when creating listing the automatic relist item if not sold is selected. I have selling limits so I have to unselect every time to protect myself from unwanted fees. What a pain.

I thought that the automatic relist did not count towards our limits.
