ADVICE/OPINIONS REQUESTED

I Have a 1 of 1 autographed card of a current baseball star. It is a certified TOPPS card. The question: Should I submit it for grading? Will it increase it's value with the guarantee as authentic of a grading co. or is the TOPPS certification sufficient. Since it is a 1 of 1 there is none better. However a fellow collector said there would be no point in grading it for that very reason, it being the only one. Your time/comments are most appreciated.

Not based upon anything ... just my gut feeling ... if you think it will come back a "10", it HAS to help the value.

I would take it a step further and say that if it would at least grade a 9, it is more than worth it IMHO.
