Highlights from Latest Subs

Good morning/afternoon guys,
It's been a while since I've subbed anything. Just didn't feel like I had the couple hours to sit down and properly prep a submission. Been sitting on these for a while, so I sent in a couple subs in January. I thought I'd share the highlights. All of these are for my personal sets, except for the Mantle, so they're not for sale. I may put the Mantle up for sale later this month, as I've already got one in an 8.
This one my dad pulled from a pack in 1954. I'm amazed at how well he took care of his cards. It's got the print smudges common to this issue, but I'm still very happy with this card. It's one of the cards that inspired me to collect back when I was six years old in 1974, when Hank broke Babe Ruth's Home Run Record. Great memories.
Picked this one up raw for my set last year at a show. A little OC top to bottom, but fits in well with the '57 set I'm working on.
Also a raw show pickup from last year. One of the keys to the set. Love the centering on this one. Thought it had a shot at a 7.5, but still very pleased.
Raw show pickup from last year too. Minor wear to corners, but great centering. 7's that look like this fit in great with my collection.
Not perfect centering, but a really sharp card. Already have an 8, so this one will probably end up on eBay later this month.
I see we have a $6 '56 and up special this month. It looks like that is going to be the best price we'll see on monthly specials, so I guess I'll put together some more stuff I've been sitting on a while.
Take care,
Todd
