Will PSA Grade Vintage Cards cut from Uncut Sheets ? And could they tell ?

Just wondering and wouldn't it be a way to make possible 9's or 10's

PSA does not grade cards cut from sheets, other than those done by manufacturer.

    No one is perfect.

A few slip through the cracks. And once they're in the PSA slab, well, I wouldn't care myself. As for whether or not it matters, let's say I had a Bobby Orr Rookie that I know for 100% fact was cut from a sheet and PSA graded it a Mint 9. Would I care at that point if it was a sheet cut card and I knew it? I'm crazy, not stupid... image And the majority, heavy majority if not near consensus of the PSA buying folks would be like "it's legit, straight from a pack" No worries in buying it". Everything was cut from a sheet at one time. May as well grade them IMO. That comes from someone whol also likes and really appreciates the OPC cut on many cards. Not everyone holds my view. And probably shouldn't. It would make for a boring collecting world...

1984 Nestle, designated as 'hand cut'.

    Good for you.
  • It's when it was cut from the sheet that is of significance. Doing so now is "unnatural" and just plain wrong in my opinion.

  • This what I got back. If I cut them then I'll get the handcut grade. Stuck on what to do with the 8 of these I have
