Software to measure centering?

I have seen people on here using some type of software that measures the centering on a card. Does anyone know what this is called and how to use it? Thanks, Andy

    you can use photoshop image
    I edit almost all my posts because my auto correct is crazy !

    JRULER is what I use. Very simple to use and it's free. GOOGLE it.
