I do. That was a political decision and had nothing to do with any threat to the participants.

Certainly hope so, but the former Soviet Union has been heavily targeted by Muslim extremists.

Russia cannot even provide secure/safe roads due to the corruption of their police. I have a hard time believing they can provide a safe Olympics given the scope.

Lets also not forget the 1996 Atlanta bombing...it's not just Russia which has security issues.
