1972 Topps storage

I am just finishing up a raw 1972 Topps Baseball set in near mint condition. All of the cards have sharp corners but some might be a bit off center which doesn't bother me too much. I have them stored in the single row box that most sets come in. There are no sleeves on them as they just fit right in the box. After I complete the set i do not usually look at them too much. Maybe once every few years. Do you think that they will be safe sitting that way or would you put them into binder pages. Again, they will be left mostly undisturbed. I would hate for the corners to get dinged in storage and I am debating about putting them in pages but I worry that the pages might do something to them in storage.

I would get a bigger box and put each card in a penny sleeve at least.

+1 That is what I do. Plus, I don't like binders.
