One more year of this great show. Mattingly from the boards and I will be there. Hope to see some of your folks. Great material, old atmosphere, accessible dealer tables for hobbiers that want a cheap place to ply their wares. Went as buyer in 2012 set up last year 2013 and am excited about going this year. Wife in tow and making her work the show this year.We are spending the weekend.

Please read stories below. Will post later what I will have on offer.

Great show day before the Super Bowl.

Hope to see and meet some of you there

Barry

I will be there as always--probably my 20th year attending. Sold at a few shows way back in the early '90s before I realized I was more sad than happy when I sold stuff.

Whoever is attending should make plans to meet at someone's table. I know Barry and Butchie have tables there--with Butchie (tonyc) being the true Rhode Islander--I say et's meet there

bringing my nephew's 10 year old son for the 1st time. believe it or not he collects vintage cards and is working on a '52 set.

    See ya there!

Hoping to make this show for the first time this year

It may be a prime spot for Mike's litho to show up if someone was dumb enough to try and move it there

Hopefully there can be some eye's peeled for it

For those who attend this show and the gbscc (shriners show) in wilmington, ma (and also rich altman's boston show at the same venue), approximately how many of the same dealers set up at this show????? I attend both wilmington shows every year but have only attended the cranston show once (in 2002) and didnt buy a single thing; however, my collecting focus is much broader now than it was 12 years ago; is this show worth the 70 minute drive from ma or am I going to find most of the same dealers I see twice a year in wilmington???? Thanks!!

They do have some different dealers that set up that do not set up a Wilmington.

Who went, and what did you think?

I thought attendance was strong this year, with a wide assortment of good material.

It was nice to see you today, I think there was a good mix overall. I picked up a box of 2014 topps and 4 71 topps and 24 cards I needed for my 61 topps set.

That's because they're Rhode Island directions. Most of the time, we give directions in the following manner: "Do you know where (store that has been closed for a decade) used to be? OK, it's down the street from there."

I'll have to check it out next year. I heard its one of the best in New England.
West Warwick.... I still get a knot in my stomach when ever I hear that name. I can't believe it was 11 years ago.
