I have a question about 1989 hoops.

Are the 52 short print cards included in series two packs. Thanks

I believe that is correct. The expansion players, Robinson in action and the Pistons card are all in series 2 for sure.

I remember when the Pistons card went for some nice money! Man Im old!image

  • Wasnt the Robinson in Series 1 short printed?
  • Well I made a mistake then and bought 2 cases of series 2. I'm trying to build a pristine set.

    Steve has them for $10.
  • Thanks I'll check it out. I've opened four boxes already and haven't found one high number pristine keeper yet.

The SP cards are only in series one. If memory serves me correctly, they removed the same number of cards that became SP as they added to the second series.

I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!

Oops, did not see his second link. Thanks!

Never realized that some of the regular cards were short printed. Though what does that really mean for this set, overproduced as it was??
