    Hi Mike

Glad to see your still gonna hang around the hobby.

Im a couple years into the 57 set basicly in the same condition as your looking to build.

strong centering on EXMT to NM cards or better with nice eye appeal.

I still need 20 cards for the set myself, #92 Ernie Stautner and #95 Hugh McElhenny being the two biggest cards.

As usual Ive taken some flack for breaking out cards for my set, but you know how that goes! LOL

For whatever reason it seems to really drive people crazy.

At this point Im very pleased with the set I have built. A few Highlights from the set:

    imageimage

Both these beauties came from "Bigdaddy Bowman". I haven't seen Ryan around in awhile. Wonder if he is still in the hobby.

A couple of real nice PSA 7 crackouts. I must say that its becoming much harder to trust the quality of card you might pull from PSA slabs.
The grading has become so wildly inconsistant that sometimes it's just not worth paying the premium to crack for nice cards, as oppossed to just taking
the chance on some of the nice looking raws. Its hit and miss anymore.

Ive also managed to find some real beauties out there!

I don't have a whole lot of extras, but I do have a few in my Unisquare Store if you want to check them out at the link below.

    Hey John,

That's a great looking Bart Starr card.

Yea, the 1957 set always takes me back to my collecting roots. It was the first high grade set I ever built, and one of the ones I always regretted selling.
BigDaddyBowman (Ryan) and I swapped lots of cards over the years ... as a matter of fact, I think he got some of my old 57 Topps dupes. So, some of the ones in your collection may have made the rounds through the old Shouldabeena camp.

By the way, I just bought 4 cards off your website. Thanks bud !!

Let me know if you have any other 50's / 60's NM-ish, centered, raw cards stashed away. I'm still debating on what sets I'm going to play with ... this time around.

    Thanks again,
    Mike

    Hey J.R.

Let me know if you have any raw centered, NM-ish 1958's laying around. You and I need to catch up on some good old fashioned card swapp'n.
