This does not look like either a contemporary or modern reproduction. Until a few short years ago, there was no motive, or incentive to copy these as they for the most part were ignored by a large portion of the exonumia collecting community, and were available in this condition for very little money. This one has the typical environmental damage that an extremely high percentage of the white metal strikes have suffered. Still desirable as a scarce example of Americana for the event that it commemorates, but the value will likely be limited by condition. IMHO, it falls in the range of value of $300-$500. I've posted images of my NGC MS-62 here before, and would be happy to share again if it adds any value to the topic of the thread.
What you have is extremely cool. If you don't mind me being nosy, where did you find it? You may have already answered in another thread but either I didn't see it or else I've forgotten. Anyway, what a nifty SCD and container!

<< <i>I saw this on ebay as well and questioned it's authenticity. >>
We were told it's Genuine by a reliable source so that's why we listed it on ebay.
Actually it's on my old Partner's ebay
