I've been following them for a few years now and there have been some sales in the high-$70s and a box that sold last September for under $60/delivered. But yes, half of the boxes sold in that period have ended >$100/delivered.
What brought the post on? Are you the guy in Walla Walla that picked up ~4 cases over a year ago?
I just rember you were trying to keep track and it seems to be heating up. One guy really likes this product and wins all boxes no matter the price. Rip any boxes yet?
Not yet. The nice thing about having a case is that I don't feel compelled to rip any quickly. To be honest, I hadn't been paying attention to who was winning the auctions so didn't realize it was one person. Prices have actually been lower in the past 6 months as only one has ended >$100/dlvd. Before that, almost every box was $100+.
Mr. ReggieCleveland is chatting with a Largent collector. That is a far cry from being Largent-obsessed. That would be like me saying there are more than one of us if someone had the name SpringsteenFan.
<< <i>Can someone enlighten me on what is 1990 Fleer Canadian?? Is this like Topp/OPC?? >>
Stingray, sorry about all the jabronis above. Yes, Fleer distributed their 1990 baseball release in Canada. The cards are identical to the US release with the exception that "Printed in Canada" is on the back of the cards instead of Printed in the US. Your Topps/OPC analogy is spot on. I've seen one website state that they did this again in 1991 but I've never seen another reference to a 1991 Fleer Canadian issue and guess that it doesn't exist. It wouldn't surprise me if it did however. The 1990 set has a few things going for it that the 1991 set doesn't so it's not like there's a lot of eyes out there combing through the backs of their 1991 Fleer cards.
Donruss also released cards in Canada through 1989-1991, despite not doing a Leaf set those years. The cards are completely identical to the US ones and it's only the wrappers and box that have slight differences (the packs contain 10 cards instead of the US 15). They're quite rare but it's really more of a thing for unopened collectors as a variation. Hope all that helps.

So, what you're saying is that there aren't any Largent cards in these Canadian packs? OK . . . nothing more to see here . . . move along...
